"The Dented Puck" originated as a blind hockey podcast idea during the late summer of 2020. The "Dented Puck" is a reference to the adaptive puck used in blind hockey. The puck is about twice the size of a normal puck and made of sheet metal. When it hits the goal post, it becomes...The Dented Puck.

It is also bigger than the average hockey puck. 2.5 inches bigger to be precise (5.5 inches vs 2.5 inches for standard pucks)

Offensive players must make a pass before taking a shot at the goal, this pass triggers an audible whistle, which alerts defense that a pass might be on its way.
